The Unterlinden Museum in Colmar

Housed in a former 13th-century Dominican convent, the Unterlinden Museum offers a tour spanning nearly 7,000 years of history, from prehistory to 20th-century art. Whether you are an art lover or simply curious, it is a must-see during your stay in Colmar!

The Gothic cloister, built between 1280 and 1289, is considered the most complete in Alsace.

The museum has a rich cultural identity, linked by an underground gallery to the new building designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron and to the former municipal baths dating from the early 20th century.
